II Forum CiViTAS Spain and Portugal

The II Forum Spain and Portugal was organized in the city of Coimbra. Many cities explained theis measures in mobility and it was an opportunity for the Portuguese Cities to receive an approach from the Spanish and Portuguese Network. The event was held in the City of Coimbra and moderated by Robert Stussi.

With the participation of the cities of Coimbra (President), PAC Vice chair, Bruno Camacho from Funchal, and the representant from IMTT, Isabel Seabra, the Forum was held in a beatiful environment, Pavilhão Centro de Portugal. The second part counted with the participation of the Deputy Mayor of Lisbon, Fernando Nunes, and the explanations from the entities in charge of the 7th FP from Spain and Portugal, Amelia Areias and Alejandro Ruiz.
Apart from the II Asembly, many other cities had the chance to explain their measures and actions regarding mobility as Coimbra, Funchal, Vitoria, Torres Vedras, Arenas de San Pedro, Faro, Almada, the Cybercar project and the START project. Also there was a presentation from the Environment Ministry presenting that CiViNET is now member of the "Network of the Networks" in Spain.
