Win a CIVITAS Award for mobility excellence

The CIVITAS Secretariat invites CIVITAS Forum cities to enter the 9th annual CIVITAS Awards competition. The Awards recognise outstanding efforts in CIVITAS’s mission of achieving a decisive modal shift toward sustainable urban mobility.

Through the Awards, the best examples of policy making and action are showcased and promoted to the press. This inspires other cities and provides role models for further development in the field.

To see your commitment and efforts recognised at the European level, enter the competition now. Winners will be presented their award in a prestigious ceremony during the 2012 CIVITAS Forum Conference, September 24-26 in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain.

The CIVITAS Award is open to all cities that have signed the CIVITAS declaration and are a member of the CIVITAS Forum Network. If your city is not a Forum member yet, please complete and sign the CIVITAS Forum Declaration.

The Award incorporates three categories – City of the Year, Public Participation, and Technical Innovation – which are all open for CIVITAS Forum Network members. Applicants may submit one entry per category. Entry forms may be downloaded from the CIVITAS Award page.

A five-member panel of independent experts will select award winners and runners-up. For further information about this jury members please, proceed to this page.
