Urban Freight Workshop and Study Tour on Cyclelogistics and Urban Freight Deliveries
Urban areas across Europe are suffering from negative impacts of urban freight trasnport, like poor air quality, CO2 emissions, congestion, nuisance and safety issues. The city of Gothenburg has successfully dealt with the problem of urban freight delivery by adopting access restrictions, but also by implementing green logistics measures.
The Urban Freight Logistics Thematic Group of CIVITAS and the European Cyclists' Federation are organising with the city of Gothenburg:
a ‘Cyclelogistics Empowerment Workshop for Cities’ (with an expert from the Cyclelogistics project)
a Study Tour on ‘How to manage urban freight deliveries’ (with a representative of the city of Gothenburg)
