CIVITAS NOVELOG Workshop ‘New approaches to urban goods deliveries on-street and off-street’
EDIFICI MEDIATIC CARRER DE ROC BORONAT 117, 08018 BARCELONA SPAIN, SpainOther
The CIVITAS NOVELOG Barcelona Workshop ‘New approaches to urban goods deliveries on-street and off-street’ is the third of six NOVELOG city workshops. It includes a site visit of one of the micro-platforms that are part of the NOVELOG pilot demonstration.
Like the previous ones (in Graz and Rome) it brings together experts, researchers and practitioners to present and discuss their experiences on solutions implemented, and to examine possibilities of transferability and solution adoption by other cities, identify successful business models and evaluation of interventions.
The objectives of this 3rd NOVELOG workshop include:
- Sharing in more detail the case study “AREADUM APP” that Barcelona is testing in the project.
- Updating the report on Barcelona’s approach to piloting micro-platforms, involving the various stakeholders.
- Taking stock of smart city initiatives in the city of Barcelona and how they fit with the planning work of the Mobility Services Department.
- Taking a look at developments with last-mile deliveries in Europe: the guest city Brussels has a new initiative, CityDepot, after the success of the LaMilo project.
