Deadline extended to join two upcoming CIVITAS study visits

City representatives are invited to take part in upcoming CIVITAS study visits in Bristol (UK) and Stockholm (Sweden). The deadline for applications has been extended to 10 September.

The first trip will take place in Bristol from 11-14 September. Site visits will enable participating cities to see first-hand the exciting sustainable urban mobility and urban development initiatives in the city.

This includes the Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone, one of the UK`s largest urban regeneration projects, and MetroBus, the city's rapid public transport system. Bristol is well known for its cycling, and participants will also be able to learn about the city's extensive cycling infrastructure.

The study tour in Stockholm will span three days from 22-24 October 2018. Those attending have the chance to discover the city's innovative work on e-mobility, including  charging infrastructure and logistics, and cycling and traffic management. Site visits will allow participants to witness the related measures in action.

In addition, they will have the chance to find out about public transport and MaaS pilots in the Swedish capital.
