SUMPs-Up Workshop for Spanish Mobility Practitioners

Mobility practitioners in Spain are invited to join a workshop being organised in Donostia-San Sebastian (Spain) on Wednesday 5 June 2019.

The workshop facilitates discussion and exchange of experiences on different challenges and solutions within the field of sustainable urban mobility planning.

Who is the target audience?

The event is targeted at experts and planners in local administrations and organisations working with mobility issues in Spain, and forms part of a series of learning activities targeted at European experts working with SUMPs.

The workshop will showcase different approaches to sustainable urban mobility planning in Spain through concrete case examples from cities. CIVITAS SUMPs-Up will present guidance and support offered to local authorities for preparing their SUMPs.

The host city Donostia-San Sebastian will present their local SUMP process, focusing on how to promote active mobility for citizens. The workshop will end with a site visit.

What language will the workshop be held in?

The workshop will be mainly held in Spanish, with the exception of some presentations that will be delivered in English.

Apply for reimbursement of your travel costs!

SUMPs-Up offers the first 25 registered participants a reimbursement for their travel costs up to 600 Euros.  Mobility practitioners and experts from Spain are eligible for the reimbursement.

If you wish you receive a reimbursement, please indicate that in the registration form and you will be informed if your application is accepted as soon as possible.
