Summary

In accordance with Trieste’s smart mobility strategy, nine publicly accessible recharging points have recently been set up in the city.

Implementing sustainable mobility

In order to boost the reach of this e-mobility service,  the City of Trieste will launch an awareness raising campaign informing stakeholders and end-users about the system’s advantages and facilities.

The campaign will target both members of the public and companies. The former is to attract new users to the service, whilst the latter is for assistance in devising better business models for the service.

As part of this, the municipality will organise public events and meetings, provide information through its website and social media networks, and promote the project at local and European events, including European Mobility Week.

To maximise the associated benefits, the municipality will manage the deployment of the service in line with the city’s mobility strategy. The activity also includes the purchase of an electric fleet for the city administration.
