Latest CIVITAS newsletter out now: Get on the MOVE!

The latest issue of MOVE, the CIVITAS Initiative’s quarterly newsletter, is once more an essential read for all those with an interest in sustainable urban mobility.

The eighth edition of MOVE throws the spotlight on road safety. Guest author Maarten Van Bemmelen presents how Donostia-San Sebastian, Spain successfully reduced the number of accidents in the city. This issue’s city news features the innovative mobility credits scheme to curb pollutant emissions of Bologna, Italy, the new sustainable urban transport plan of Gorna Oryahovitsa, Bulgaria, and a new bike sharing scheme in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Moreover, the city news looks at a road safety training programme for children in Usti nad Labem, Czech Republic, a citizen consultation initiative in Craiova, Romania, and the Dutch car sharing champion Utrecht. The English seaside town of Brighton & Hove takes centre stage in the city in profile section.
