Join us in Zagreb, Croatia at the CIVITAS Summer Course 2024! The CIVITAS Summer Course presents a unique and inspiring experience for urban mobility professionals from across Europe.

From 2-5  September 2024, participants will work on a mobility challenge facing the City of Zagreb, and learn and exchange about innovative insights in sustainable urban mobility planning. A key point of focus will be effective communication and cooperation with stakeholders, as well as public participation and co-creation. The objective of the event is to exchange experience, contribute to finding new solutions, enhance personal capacities and develop individual knowledge and skills.

This in-person event will span 3.5 days and be led by a team of experts and peers. It will conclude with the presentation of new solutions to existing mobility challenges to the City of Zagreb, by course participants. Participants will become acquainted with “action learning”, which includes a mix of expert lectures, interactive tasks and case study group work related to the local mobility challenge. Experience has shown that participants will have the opportunity to contribute with their expertise. Practical assignments will help participants to apply the lessons learned. At the end of the course, certificates will be awarded.

The CIVITAS Summer Course is a free event. To help cover travel and accommodation costs, a limited number of scholarships are available through the European-funded CIVITAS MUSE Coordination and Support Action.
