Can you beat MOBI?

Enter this autumn's From 5 to 4 competition with your company and show how much CO2 your team is able to reduce on its commutes!

MOBI (www.mobi-project.eu) is looking for teams and companies willing to play the award winning game 'From-5-to-4'. This autumn we are offering the opportunity for 20 teams to enter the MOBI Autumn competition and try out the F5T4 game for free for one month.

What?

The aim of the game is to encourage employees to travel to work more smartly (e.g. walking, cycling, public transport and car sharing) as well as having fun competing against their friends and colleagues at the same time. In return, the website gives employees bespoke information about how much energy they have saved, calories burned as well as the opportunity to win prizes. It's a simple formula: every week, 1 day smarter commuting.

Why?

Insights: F5T4 provides companies and teams insight in their mobility patterns and mobility CO2 footprint.

Reduction CO2 footprint: F5T4 game offers positive incentives and promotes more sustainable ways of travelling. It contributes to corporate plans and activities to reduce companies' CO2 footprint.

Teambuilding: F5T4 is a fun way to interact with your colleagues. Learn about your colleagues' tips and tricks, or schedule a car pool.

How it works?

It is easy. Teams are formed within a company or interested individuals. Before the competition starts, team members enter their regular mobility pattern (distance and mode choice to travel to work). During the competition the teams submit their improvements. Each week standings are updated. The team and individuals with the best score at the end of the competition is the winner.

About MOBI

This competition is organized as part of the EU funded MOBI project (www.mobi-project.eu). The goal of MOBI is to encourage employers and their employees to use energy efficient and sustainable transport modes for their commute and business travel journeys. This will be achieved through the implementation of the award winning online game (F5T4) originating from The Netherlands. During the project the game has been implemented in 5 partnering countries. MOBI is now looking for additional companies (teams/units/departments within the company with a maximum of 50 participants) in Europe who want to try out the F5T4 game for one month this autumn. The purpose of these trials is to obtain further learnings and gain insights in the potential of the game.
