CIVITAS CARAVEL Summer University, Burgos, July 9th - 11th, 2007
„Citizen and Stakeholder Involvement in Sustainable Mobility” - with this slogan CIVITAS CARAVEL invites students and young professionals to the first unit of the CIVITAS CARAVEL Summer University! This first unit will take place in Burgos, Spain, from July 9th to 11th, 2007. The idea of the in total four units of the CIVITAS CARAVEL Summer University is “… learning from the experiences in CIVITAS CARAVEL”. The participation is free of charge, nevertheless registration is necessary. Besides the first unit in Burgos there will be units in Stuttgart, Germany (“Soft Measures in Transport Planning”, autumn 2007), Genoa, Italy (“Flexible Transport”, early summer 2008) and Budapest (“New Member States”, autumn 2008). The participation is free of charge, nevertheless registration is necessary.The CIVITAS CARAVEL Summer University in Burgos will start on Monday, July 9th, 2007, with opening lectures of professors from the universities in Madrid, Burgos and Santander. On Tuesday, July 10th, 2007 the experiences from the four cities taking part in CIVITAS CARAVEL will be presented. Alberto Cappato will explain Mobility Marketing and the Mobility Forum in Genoa, Ulrich Vogt will present the Round Table and the Citizens Poll in Stuttgart to improve the Clean Air Act of Stuttgart, Lukasz Franek will speak on citizen and stakeholder involvement in Krakow, namely at the Krakow University of Technology, and Jose Maria Diez will give an insight view in the experiences in Burgos.
