CIVITAS Educational Network introduced at SuTra conference

The International Conference on Sustainable Transport (SuTra) 2022 brought together leading experts from the economic, academic and public sectors who discussed about sustainability in traffic and transport in Croatia, the region and beyond.
The first international conference on sustainable transport in Croatia, the so-called SuTra 2022, gathered about 250 scientists, business professionals and representatives of public authorities from across Europe from 29 September to 1 October 2022. In Croatian, sutra means tomorrow. So, the conference name refers to sustainable transport as the future of mobility - and in fact, it's already happening today.
Co-organizers of the conference were the Faculty of Maritime Studies of the University of Rijeka (Croatia) and the Department of Logistics and Sustainable Mobility of the University North from Croatia.
In addition to the presentation of scientific papers, which will be published in respectable international journals indexed in WoS or Scopus, several panels were held that brought together the economic sector and academia. One of the more notable panels called Opportunities for Connecting the Academic Community and the Economy for Scientific and Professional Projects showcased, among others, the CIVITAS Educational Network. All the advantages and opportunities of such a network were highlighted. Furthermore, research and knowledge institutes which haven’t joined the network yet were invited to get involved.
When concluding the conference, the organizers emphasized their satisfaction with this conference and invited all participants to the next one, which will be announced soon.
