Exhibition of student works in Zagreb
An exhibition of student projects and the reconstruction of Savska street as part of an international architecture - planning workshop entitled ‘Street Work’ opened on 25 May 2010. The exhibition is taking place in the CIVITAS ELAN forum, a tram located in front of the technical museum in Zagreb.
‘Street Work’ is a student research project initiated by the academy of architecture in Amsterdam and is conducted in collaboration with five architectural faculties from Europe: Helsinki University of Technology, Edinburgh College of Art, La Camber and Sint - Lucas Brussels, Universidade do Porto and Zagreb Faculty of Architecture. In each of these cities a street was selected, due to its location in the city, historical significance, undefined vision, and functional conflicts. The students analysed this street throughout the semester. In Zagreb it was the Savska street - the CIVITAS ELAN demonstration corridor.
