Invitation to join as an observer city

Are you ready to revolutionise urban mobility in your city? The SUM (Seamless Shared Urban Mobility) project is on a mission to transform current mobility in European cities to include innovative shared mobility systems that are integrated with public transport. SUM is now inviting YOU to be a part of this groundbreaking initiative!

Objectives:
The objective of SUM is to transform mobility in more than 15 European Cities by 2026, and increase this number to 30 cities by 2030. The transformation involves the integration of new and shared mobility systems with public transport. Intermodality, interconnectivity, sustainability, safety, and resilience are at the core of this innovation.

Observer cities:
To expand the positive impacts of the project to other cities in Europe and give more cities an opportunity to benefit from first-hand experience, SUM is looking to engage with three additional European cities.

Observer Cities will benefit from cutting-edge insights and innovative solutions to enhance policy design through data-driven decisions. Moreover, these cities will be given access to the ERTICO Academy and the opportunity to become part of a collaborative network.

Eligibility:
All cities that are a member of the CIVITAS Network, have a Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP), and are committed to sustainability are eligible to apply!

Expectations:
Observer Cities will contribute to raising the profile of the SUM project, partake in annual meetings, participate in Living Lab study visits, and provide data to support the development of SUM's Pan-European Open Data platform.
