Szeged városának kezdeményezésére a Magyar CIVINET bemutatkozott az MJVSZ közgyűlésén 2014. június 21-én. Szita Károly, Kaposvár polgármestere és a Közgyűlés házigazdája is buzdította a jelenlévőket a hálózat munkájában való részvételre.
