Public transport users embrace smart travel card

With over 2,500 active travel card customers and more than 12,000 weekly journeys, the new smart travel card takes its grip on public transport in North Jutland. According to a new study, this positive trend will increase in the future.

The study, carried out by the transport operator for North Jutland (NT) and Aalborg Municipality, shows that as much as 31 percent of travel card customers expect to travel more by bus and train in the future due to the card. In addition, the study -  which was issued by e-mail to 836 North Jutland travel card customers – shows that 76 percent were either "very satisfied" or "satisfied" with their travel cards. Two of the main reasons for choosing the smart travel card are that it is easy (65%) and inexpensive (44%).
