Results of public transport study presented to public in Usti nad Labem

CIVITAS Initiative

The city of Usti nad Labem has completed the task, understanding public transport users, which aims to improve public transport in the city. It also serves as a source of information for the Usti nad Labem public transport company.

Primary information for the study was gathered by questionnaires distributed to citizens via the city web site, the information centre and several Usti district offices. The information was spread on local radio, published in newspapers and supported by leaflets and posters. Citizens willing to participate in the survey had the possibility to win free permits for Usti nad Labem public transport. The results of the survey were presented during the public event in the Usti nad Labem information centre. Deputy Mayor Jan Rericha, Director of Public Transport Company Tomas Kraus, and the Head of Transport Department of the City Dalibor Darilek all participated in the presentation. The CIVITAS project and its activities were introduced to the citizens. At the end, local authorities selected randomly 10 survey participants who were awarded the prizes.
