Zagreb and Koprivnica share experiences

CIVITAS Initiative

The CIVITAS ELAN team from Zagreb went to Koprivnica in April 2012 to share some of the  knowledge gathered during the past 3.5 years in the ELAN project.

Representatives from Koprivnica City Council had a chance to hear a bit more about the ELAN results in Zagreb and even more importantly about the difficulties that Zagreb faced in the implementation of ELAN measures. But not only ELAN was in centre of the attention. Koprivnica is just getting started on an international project that deals with sustainable mobility: DIN@MO. The ELAN team in Zagreb is now eager to see how DIN@MO – a partnership project between the cities of Aachen, Palma, Gdnya and Koprivnica - that was presented by Helena Hećimović and Nebojša Kalanj, will be implemented and what innovations it will bring to Koprivnica. Koprivnica is a small Croatian town of little more then 30,000 citizens that – a small city that strives towards sustainable mobility and joined the CIVITAS Network in 2010.
